Jana joined the BPS Group primarily as an expert in direct tax and international taxation. For more than ten years she worked at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic at department of direct taxes. At this time, she participated in the development of the tax legislation, participated in the conclusion of double taxation treaties, implementation of EU Directives into Slovak legislation as well as took part in technical negotiations of working groups in the field of direct taxes in the EU Council. In addition to the experience gained through many years of work in the tax area, her high professionalism and comprehensive pro-client approach to solving clients’ issues represents a significant asset. Considering also her previous experience, Jana speaks English fluently.
